Dr. Tina Zottoli is a NYS licensed clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department of Montclair State University. Dr. Zottoli provides psychological assessment, expert testimony and consultation in the following areas:
Youth Dr. Zottoli has special expertise in adolescent neurocognitive development and decision-making, especially as applied to legal contexts. She maintains an active research program in this area and is available to consult on and provide evaluations for criminal and family court cases involving adolescents. She can also serve as an expert witness on matters related to adolescent decision making, risk taking and legal capacities. False / Coerced Admissions Dr. Zottoli maintains an active research program on guilty plea decisions and serves as an expert witness in cases involving suspected invalid rights waivers and false or coerced guilty pleas and confessions. |
